Board Election for Voting Members Starting 9/12

Starting in on September 12, 2019, there will be an election for two new Directors of the Snyder-Robinson Foundation’s Board. The election will be open to Voting Members for two weeks, from September 12th to September 26th, 2019. If you are a current Voting Member, you will receive an email from [email protected], to which you will reply with your votes. 

Thanks to your votes this past March, we brought on a new slate of expert professionals to serve as our Board of Directors (learn more about our board here). The board has nominated two new candidates to add as Directors and contribute to the advancement of SRF and SRS research. Here is information about the two board candidates that you will be voting on:

  •  Dr. Mary Jo Kutler: Dr. Kutler has worked as pediatrician for over twenty years. Mary Jo has a passion for helping special needs patients with complicated medical requirements, and as a result her practice included caring for these children. She was deeply involved in the care of two brothers with Snyder-Robinson Syndrome for 24 years, and has developed an in-depth understanding of issues faced by SRS patients. Mary Jo is also the Principle Investigator for the Snyder-Robinson Foundation’s Natural History Study, which will help to better characterize and understand SRS. Dr. Kutler is currently a Medical Advisor to Snyder-Robinson Foundation. 


  • Dr. Robin Carlson: Dr. Carlson is a clinical research director with demonstrated ability to work with thought leaders and lead/ inspire interdisciplinary teams. She has expertise in creating and implementing complex medical device clinical trials in all phases. Robin is experienced in laboratory informatics, biomarkers, endovascular, orthopedic, and cardiovascular medical disciplines.

As a reminder, Voting Members are those of you who signed up for membership as a parent/legal guardian, a sibling, a carrier of SRS, or an individual with SRS and received a follow-up email confirming your Voting Member status. If you are not yet a member but fall under one or more of the previously listed categories, please sign up for membership before voting at
