The Snyder-Robinson Foundation offers its deepest condolences to the family of John F. Gallagher.  John, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, was born on March 3rd, 1959 and died on October 28th, 2017 at the age of 58.  John had SRS, along with family members: brothers, Michael (deceased), Ted and Edward, his cousin, Joseph Buckley (deceased), his nephews Stephen Leis and David Marchetti.  They were the first family to participate in the medical research study conducted by Dr. Snyder and Dr. Robinson to identify this rare genetic disorder and its characteristics.  Their research greatly contributed to identifying the genetic cause of the syndrome.  According to John’s will, his organs were donated to continue medical research and help find a cure.  He would be most pleased to know that his death would further the progress toward a cure.

The Gallagher family requests that you donate both now, and in the future, to the Snyder-Robinson Foundation in memory of John.  Donations can be made to the SRF via PayPal by clicking the link here or by sending a check to The Snyder-Robinson Foundation, 1443 Layman Street, McLean  VA  22101.  Your donations provide support to affected families and SRS research.
